Ancient Byzantine Artifacts
Breaking news! Archeologist Indiana Jones has made a new discovery. He has found three new ancient Byzantine relics from long ago. He found them while excavating an ancient village near Istanbul, Turkey late last weekend.
The first relics were tiny golden discs that were found on a stone table. These are believed to pieces to the game we call Frisbee. These are ancient table Frisbees, a game played much like the real game only in miniature; the same as table tennis. These golden discs were thought to belong to highly skilled professional players where as others were given silver for intermediate players and iron for novice players.
This is a mosaic which is a portrait of Jesus made of many pieces of gold painted rock and other precious stones Mr. Jones found it in the Hagia Sophia, not in his most recent expedition outside Istanbul but in an area of the great mosque that had yet to be explored. The room in which he found it in was heavily booby-trapped and there were many times Mr. Jones thought that he would surely parish but he did not.

This is perhaps Mr. Jones’ most impressive find yet. This mosaic depicts a mighty steed that would surely have carried the most valiant of warriors into battle. Only the best warriors and only the best used these steeds. They would ride them into battle with full armor. The steeds were large and muscular but they were fat. Despite their girth and weight they could run very fast and allow any skilled rider to win in any conflict. This mosaic pictures a juvenile not yet fully grown but as you can see there is a natural hump where the rider can sit comfortable and fight as well.
